Sometimes a lot of things seem to be happening in the brain and the world and it's hard to separate out the bits. You know?

I've read The Wild Places and The Old Ways, which I loved a lot, it made a huge impression on me. Really want to read Landmarks now - I think he's great.

I love Robert Macfarlane's books! He introduced The Peregrine and that was how I learned of him.

One of my favourite books! I also read her Falcon in 2007. Not as good as it's a straightforward natural history, but I remember wishing she would write more and now I feel a bit guilty, even though she's clearly written a masterpiece.

(I have read a stupidly eclectic collection of books about falcons. I am obsessed with them.)

oh yay - I only finished it recently but it immediately right up there with some of the best books I've ever read. Totally turned me onto birds of prey, too - I want to go and see some!
