i took my septum out. my nose doesnt feel any different. it might not close up all the way, i've had a lot of friends that have had them pierced for a year or more where it only closed to a 16..so maybe if it does that i'll just buy a 16 guage and put it in whenever i want it. whooo knows.

I've had mine out for a long time, and I can still put a 14 through it.

why'd u take it out though? i liked it, but most people dont like septum's, i dunno why i even have mine, i never wear it down anymore. i will soon hopefully

chances are it wont close, ive taken out for long periods of time and nothing. at least you always have that option of putting it back in.
