Wow my calls SUCKED today. Had really weird issues. Stuff that shouldn't be causing a problem was causing a problem. The last call I had stumped the entire consult line up in Canada - they finally let me escalate the call after almost two hours of making NO headway. Well spent my first official day supporting the new Microsoft Broadband Networking equipment. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be - you solve a lot of problems by resetting either the base station alone - or everything: computer, base station and cable or dsl modem. Went to training today and I actually learned something!!!! (yes you did read that correctly) Then again the training dept is NOT doing the training. I understand more about networking now than in the entire 2 years I've been working for this stupid company!!!! I'm actually excited to hit the phones to support this product.

My friend Isaac thedriveshaft wore a paper hat yesterday at work - to see if something would happen - it did. He got called into the "principals" office and was asked why he felt the need to wear the hat - what a joke.
