Friday Five and Idol Thoughts

I know I rarely do these Friday Fives anymore, but this one is about TV so I can't resist.

What's your favourite TV network? Lifetime. No matter what time of day it is, if there's nothing else good on TV I can always count on Lifetime to be showing either a cheesy movie or a Golden Girls rerun.

If you could create your own channel, what would it be? It would show classic sitcoms like Full House, Perfect Strangers, The Cosby Show, Roseanne, Martin, Friends, Saved by the Bell, Golden Girls, old cartoons like Jem, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Duck Tales, other old kid shows like Ghostwriter, Fraggle Rock, and the Elephant Show. Oh, and all the good shows they used to show on Nickelodeon like Salute Your Shorts, Hey Dude, Double Dare, Clarissa Explains it All, Fifteen, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Guts, and Wild and Crazy Kids. And of course I'd order endless seasons of Veronica Mars to be shown in primetime.

Ohhh, you forgot 'Alex Mack', 'Scarecrow & Mrs King', 'La Femme Nikita'..Veronica would be in good company! :) :)

I loved Ghostwriter! I even had my own "casebook" because at the beginning of the show they would tell you to get yours out and write down the evidence with the team. It's strange to me that nobody from that show ever did anything else (Hector showing up on "The Real World" notwithstanding...)

I want David C. to win, too (in my mind he won it during Mariah week), but I loved that David A. did "With You"! By no means was it good, but after almost an entire season of him doing the same ballad every week, it certainly livened the show up.

Oh, and I finally finished Season 1 of VM. There are no words.

Sounds like an amazing channel. I'd totally watch it lol.
