Well, I don't think anyone heals them...The Pokemon seem to recover on their own...

Ah, I presume nobody has told you about this yet. It may sound confusing - I have barely gotten used to the concept myself - but Pokémon are commonly used to battle.

From what I understand, when one is defeated in the wild, it only faints.

From what I understand, they recover from whatever damage they received overnight! Beyond that, it's one of those mysteries that has yet to be solved! I think.
