-- Oh, no, it's not the being alone that bothers him, not at all; it's simply the fact that he has been so frustratingly inactive lately, which is terrible for an ageing body. He's not all that young anymore, and if he stops exercising... well, he might have to go into retirement before even having someone ready to take his place, and that simply won't do.
Truth be told, in these last few days, he has been dying - not literally, thank goodness - to see his life return to normalcy.]
