I'm trying to make an image of my harddrive and saving it to my external harddrive. I'm using a free program called PowerISO and I'm saving it as an ISO file. The problem is, I can't save any programs or applications that are running at that moment. Does anyone know how I can work around this or even give me a completely different way to make an

Hm . . . I already had magicISO and it didn't always work so I got PowerISO and it works much better. I ended up making an image of what I could, copying the entire OS, and making a backup and copying the registry.

I'm sure doing all these things will confuse me in the end and it is overkill, but oh well. I'll do them all to see what I like better in the end.
