I want you to pay special attention to the two apologies in my friends list... I guess this year I've been a bit touchy on the subject that people actually apologized for their team winning

Many things you are not taking into account here. One is the fact that you may be a yankee fan, but your kinda silent about it. I worked with you for months before I ever knew you were into the yankees. I'm not calling you a fair weather fan, but I dont think you are all that into baseball yourself. Thats fine. You can be a silent fan, but dont call out others for doing the same. I mean do you really watch baseball every day and check the scores

Shelley jesus christ. why do you jump over everything i say. I am not attacking you and your love baseball. I was simply saying that you may be a fan but your not very vocal about it. i.e. silent. And that there are a lot of baseball fans out there like that. I simply said that so you would understand that maybe you havent heard a certain person express themselves as a baseball fan or red sox fan, but that doesnt mean there not fans. It doesnt mean people are jumping on a band wagon. My address to your post was not to bash the yankees or you and if you read it carefully it doesnt bash either team. The goal of my post was to

Personally I think it is rediculous to fight about somthing as simple as baseball. For all of the people who have written comments in responce to Shelley's entry, you all should just calm down. A journal is supposed to be a place for a person to get all feelings out, not a battlefeild for baseball

We're not saying they're not fans. We're saying that if they only watch the ALCS, and for example, if they had never heard of Keith Foulke until the ALCS, they have no right to start getting in our faces about it all.

i love all the anonymous comments. Everybody wants to be the mature one, but in the end you all posted anonymously because you want to get your piece in as well.
I know Shelley better than anyone on this site. She has played ball all her life. I know. Her dad and I had to sit through many games. She also screams very loud during games at home depending on the plays. She watches them all the time with her stepdad and has been to Yankee stadium on numerous occasions. She is right, there are alot of people who jumped on the ban wagon after the sox won. Just like all the Yankee jumpers would have done the same had they won. It doesn't really matter but i wanted to straighten the record out here. Make no mistake about Shelley. She knows her baseball!!!!!!!!
