This was *amazing*, I love every inch of it.

Just... everything about it, so hearbreaking, but ending with hope. I love Sam's quiet admission, and Dean's angry persistance, his refusal to give in and give up on our angel. And I particularly love how you make Daphne an actual person and character in her own right. She's a forgettable two dimensional footnote in the show, but here you've actually made me feel for her. Show didn't even get close.

Wow, I say again. I loved this take on how the hallucinations would affect Cas. You used such powerful imagery and the characterization of everyone was perfect. I especially loved Sam and Dean's conversations with Cas. Beautiful and heartbreaking. Fantastic story.

Brilliant! Poor Cas - he effectively internalizes Dean's tendency toward self-sacrifice only to have Dean himself come pry him out of his shell. It's a beautiful thing!
