Thanks to those who prayed for well-wishes for my daughter who was hit by a car a month ago.

She is doing very well! She has moderate brain injury, but other than that, she is good. It will take about a year to heal her brian and for her to get back her higher level thinking that she once had. She is slightly off balance so now uses a

I'm such an infrequent visitor to LJ these days that this is the first that I've heard of your daughter's injury! I'm so sorry to hear about it, but glad she is improving. Having an ill or injured child is awful. You will both be in my thoughts. I'm glad you have some other things going on. Taking care of yourself is the best way to be able to take care of her. By the way, 30 ain't old. I'll be 49 this summer and you know what's coming for me next year!

I can't believe you are going to be 30 this month. Muahahahahha!!! You'll be old like the rest of us "old ladies." See, you knew that was going to come back to haunt you!!!!

For my 30th, we had a toga party. I had a friend who had a party to which everyone had to bring 30 things--30 beers, or 30 little paper umbrellas, or 30 tiny squares of cheesecake... it was fun.
