I'd had no idea that you had moved to Denver. It's great that all of your family are together in the same city now.
Yay for doing your student teaching! Do you have a lead on a teaching position for the next year?
I hope your youngest daughter continues her recovery. My husband had a brain injury as the result of a fall, and although it took a few years, he was able to return to driving a car and go back to work I know how much work that can be, but great progress can be made.
Wow, I'm sorry to hear that hubby suffered from a TBI too, but I'm glad he is back to driving and working! That is great! Yeah, just looking at her, she looks and talks normal--her issuess are school work, upper level thinking, balancing a lot of work. So she is doing 3 classes with online school, it's part time so she is considered homeschooled. But, we are working at things!
Yes, in Denver now since March of 2010!! Time flys by too fast, don't you think!
I'm so lost in this fandom world on LJ now, I feel like a stranger, but I am so happy you replied!
It's lovely to see you again! I'm glad there are good things - though it seems that in the case of Youngest there were bad things first *hugs* - and that you haven't forgotten the LJ crowd!
Glad to hear all is (mostly) good! I can't believe the oldest is THAT old already! And A is doing better? You and the family sure have had a long road to haul. :( Give them all a big hug for me!
Glad to hear everyone is in CO now! I know you missed them. How is she liking retirement? :) We're over, OVER due for a long chat! So much has been going on here, it's ridiculous! I recently came back to LJ, as well. It does seem a bit foreign, doesn't it?
By the way, mine is 12, in 7th grade, and still talks about Cali :)
Yeah, still a long road... but we are dealing with things...
Well, mom went back to teaching! Wasn't ready to retire! Yes, way over due... And very foreign... How's the new house coming??? How is I enjoying the new house???

Sometimes real life gets in the way of fandom.
Sending good vibes and hugs to your little guy.
Not forgotten, just missed.
