What is the meaning of life? What is the meaning of a baseball game? What is the meaning of a walk in the woods. What is the meaning of petting a dog?

It is an event, a process, an experience, a journey which may or may not achieve a certain goal.

Then again maybe I'm full of shit. In which case it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury and signifying nothing.

Meaning must be measured in more than outcomes. Otherwise much of what we do will have no meaning because the outcome is beyond our control. For example, if I demonstrate against the war in Iraq does my activtiy have no meaning since I clearly was unable to prevent the war? Think about that old man.

nope... no one can give u any answers. at the very least they can maybe tell u wat the meaning of their life is all about.

but for now life seems to be about... doing watever til u die. for me it doesn't matter wat u do with ur life cuz when ur dead ur dead.

ok how bout this. we're born.. we eat.. we sleep.. we procreate and try to survive.

seems to be every other living thing is all about.. surviving.

or how about the bible. millions of ppl around the world can't all be wrong could they? so live a virtuous life and u will get into heaven yay.

i think there's no point to think about the meaning of life... except as an exercise in creative thinking or something
