I wrote a proposal for a friend who works for the District Attorney in one of the New York Boruoughs. It si to provide support for women who are Victim's of Domestic Violence. I did it as a gift. I didn't ask to get paid. Is there a chance I might go to heaven after all?
But....
Why do I need to ask?

We spend too much time trying to change others while the real cahllenge is to change ourselves.

Sometimes it is better to leave things unsaid.

Bob Hope just died at the age of 100. I wonder if he want to live that long?

The pain continues and I have but 2 ways to deal with it:
1. I have been trying to keep busy as a means of taking my mind off of it.

2. I have been told it is best to accept the feeling as a step towards lessening it.
But,doing that is painful.

Do you think time is a great healer. I wonder about that, also.

Everyone once in a while I meet someone who opens me up to my limitaitons and insecurities. It is usually a beautiful women who I attribute all sorts of virtues to. Usually it is an attractive female, successful and independent. Is it better to feel and suffer pain when one knows that it is only way to also experience joy.

I sat and watched the waves today and felt a sense of calm. It occurs to me however that if I were on the water the waves would seem unsettling. What is the difference: why is the same thing both a source of tranquility and a source of difficulty. Could it be the distance and how does that relate to my life everyday. Well, just another thought.

I have made some incredible nice froends on LJ. I feel very lucky for that. Just be aware if you become my friend I will insist on being very nice. So get ready for the compliments.

I have been thinking that the advent of technology is actually making life more difficult. It seems you can never escape from it nor can others be contacted who you need to get to. I know that sounds like a contradiction but consider this: If someone wants you they can get you by phone, fax, email, etc. If someone dosen't want you they can keep ( Read more... )
