It's not the 'immigrants' we're worried about. I have quite a few friends from other countries who are here on Visas or have become citizens. As long as people enter the US LEGALLY and go through the proper chanels to obtain AMERICAN citizenship I am fine. If they obey the law ie:do not enter illegally, do not obtain a false SS# or ID etc. then welcome to America my friend

And as far as healthcare goes, I fully embrace my right to choose my provider and my plan. Even if that means choosing not to have any, which I did for many years. I understand that there are people who cannot afford insurance and thats no good, yes, but there are pleeeenty of jobs that, surprisingly sometimes, have decent insurance plans if you work full-time. However I also come from a standpoint of "you do what you have to for your family" which translates loosely to you bust your freaking ass if you must to provide for your family. If this means figuring out how to live as a 1 car household, finding an additional part time job, getting rid of the cellphones, turning off the cable, shoping at second hand stores, budget budget budget to find the cash to afford health care and I PROMISE it will feel much better than accepting a handout
