My young cousin had a malignant brain tumor they had to remove out of his medulla and then do chemo. It took him a long time to recover, but he -did- recover. And his hair grew back just fine. If you want, maybe I could put you in touch with him? I can't -imagine- what you're feeling right now ... but he could.
