Tomorrow morning, we are headed to Big Sky Country! I am obviously excited but also a little nervous, as I tend to get before any large trip. The worst part is that I haven't even started packing yet! Yes, I'm a procrastinator. I think it comes with being an English major in college. It's what WE do.
- Thursday: drive to panhandle of NE, visit Chimney Rock, find hotel
- Friday: drive to MT, stop and see Little Big Horn, get to cabin
- Saturday: drive to Livingston, get supplies, look around
- Sunday: go to Lewis and Clark Caverns(?), hike
- Monday: got to Yellowstone (?)
- Tuesday: whitewater raft down Yellowstone River area all day
- Wednesday: go to Bozeman, museums, touristy stuff
- Thursday: hike or canoe somewhere in the area
- Friday: leave cabin, begin drive to SD, find hotel
- Saturday: visit Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse
- Sunday: drive back to CR
Whew! That's not as planned as C would like but.... what can you do?
In other news, my favorite aunt-- my only one-- is having brain surgery today. She apparently has "fluid on the brain" which is causing her memory loss and balance issues. We've known for sometime that something is amiss but they finally ruled out the big "A" and discovered that she has all of this water on her brain. My mom is supposed to update me this afternoon on how things went. *Sending up a prayer!*
