Pregnancy Abound

Apparently, everyone and their dog can get pregnant but me. I guess there are lots of people walking around with working ovaries out there. One of the teachers in my department is pregnant. I stood amongst my neighbors in the wee hours of the morning (okay, 6:40 am but still, that's early) and voted my conscience. I will be counted. I will be a part of history.

After not having any kids for the last hour, I finally shut off the lights. Boo! Hiss! I am so disappointed. We barely had 30 kids and I have a ton of candy left over. Darn it! I was hoping they'd come in droves and instead, they sort of trickled up the steps to our door.

Normally, Chris sends me links to websites that aren't really my deal-- stuff about yetis, ninjas, and obscure NY real estate site. This one, however, is pretty darn funny. It's a blog written by a woman named Heather. It's funny, sad, insightful, goofy... all of the things I wished I was on a regular basis.

Isn't it nicehow Gin Blossoms can jump start the day? I'm really exhausted this morning. Chris said I fell asleep on his shoulder last night. I haven't done that in a long time.
