I’m happy to say that it looks like we have some interest in holding another Holiday Fest, so yay for that! And the consensus appears to be that we should stick with the Holiday/Winter Season theme.
Now it’s time to hit us with your prompts. We’ll take general (word or phrase) or more specific (scenario) prompts. The only requirement is that your prompt must have something to do with the holiday/winter season.
I’ll get us started with a few prompts so you can see what I mean:
Eggnog
Mistletoe
Sleigh Ride
Snowed In
Shaun wants to make this big romantic gesture for Zach at Christmas, but it falls through. Shaun is disappointed, but Zach tells/shows/both him how much he doesn’t mind.
Spiked eggnog makes Zach think it’s a really good idea to kiss Shaun under the mistletoe at his publisher’s Christmas party.
Zach and Shaun are in NYC (or someplace else with snow) over Christmas (for a book signing or art gallery show) and they go on a romantic sleigh ride through the city.
Zach and Shaun get snowed in for the holidays.
(Please note that you do not need to duplicate these prompts because they ~are going on the list. *g*)
Now it’s your turn! Comment here with your holiday/winter themed prompts, and I’ll collect them all in one list for claiming.
Dates to Remember:
Prompt Submission Period: Sunday, November 6 - Saturday, November 19
Claim Post Goes Live: Sunday, November 21
Claiming/Writing Period: Sunday, November 21 - Saturday, December 31
Posting Period: Sunday, December 18 - Saturday, December 31
(The posting period has been changed to allow people who will be busy over the holidays to post earlier.)
~Please remember that you will be able to write fic, create graphics, vids, etc, so keep that in mind, also, when you submit your prompts.
~You will not be required to claim a prompt in order to submit a prompt, nor do you have to submit a prompt to claim a prompt, and you may claim your own prompt. Whew!
~There is no limit on the number of prompts you may submit. However, if you come back at a later time to submit more prompts, please do so in a new comment to this post rather than in a reply to your previous comment. This makes it easier for me to make sure I don't miss any.
Okay, now you guys say something! *g*
