I just ask because in reading your post, I can't tell if this is a situation for antibiotics-and-it's-done-with, or something that you'll have to deal with the rest of your life.

PS: Isn't there an assistant stage manager that could step in? I'm furious that they're asking (or, knowing you, allowing) you to go on while dealing with something this serious.

After further reading over this post, I also wanted to add that it was not my director who shushed me when I fell; Kathy is a sweetheart and was fully aware I'm not up to snuff. And yes, I was allowed, allowed to try, because we are shorthanded backstage as it is, and they had several cast members doing my job the night before. I 'fess that I was unreasonalbly stubborn about the whole thing; I hate not being able to help.
Woke up this afternoon after my post-exam slumber-- eight hours of nap that started out rather feverishly-- to find that my dizziness is all but gone, though I'm still headachey and flu-sore. Sweet sweet blessing, nice flat floor, world all where it should be. Everything looks and tastes better, and I'm so grateful for coffee.
Also woke to realize it's time to catch up on all the homework I haven't done this week. Blech. Time to hit the stacks.
