I am feeling so much better about these MCATs. Sure, they’ll probably knock me off my feet when I take them, but right now…ahh. Just finished the second test in my booklet, and I got a 20 from the three sections. So if I get around a 10 on the writing section, that puts me at a thirty for my MCAT score! Which is enough to get me into at least one ( Read more... )

No way. I can't even say Guten tag at the right time. Berlin, Wisconsin. Apparently the Wisconsinites have a fetish with naming their small towns after amazing cities in Europe. I'll be back on the 25th of May. Almost had ME scared there for a second...

Not quite sure. Depends on if PJ/Bob decide they need the help for sure on the 26th at the resort. Hopefully at least a day or two...

What do you want for your birthday? I didn't have the money to send a package home, but I was thinking of you, so lemme know, righty-o?

if you're going to be a doctor...please check for appendicitis before diagnosing someone with crohn's disease.

a bit of a personal request.

All over it.

Speaking of, I did some research on Crohn's...was your problem really just appendicitis? That seems a bit far-fetched. Did they ever figure out what's up?

yeah. they said that I've now developed IBS because they removed my ileocecal valve. the infection that was leaking from my appendix caused the inflammation. I was active enough that my body was fighting it, and when they stuck me in the hospital it festered. the section of tissue they removed tested negative for Crohn's.

Crohn's tests are worthless. Even if you show up positive, theres a large chance you don't have it.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome, I assume? That's a bitch. Are they going to replace the valve, or is it supposed to grow back? I don't know much about the GI tract, especially that far down. Hope you're doing better now

yeah. its still bad...bad enough that I've been put on a form of opium. the valve is irreplacable. too bad he didn't check my appendix BEFORE he removed the valve...
