Snaggage... well that may be the trendy way of saying but call a spade a space and it's still stealing ;)

Interesting meme that just had to grab from psychme.

1. One book that changed your life:Tricky, very tricky. I think it would have to be the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. Hardly a literary masterpiece or standard role ( Read more... )

Omg someone else who has read Rock and a Hard Place. Personally I love anything written by Peter David. Such a warped sense of humour. I like your list

Peter David is one of my favourite ST authors, and I am surprised to actually find someone else that has read that book. *thumbs up* Diane Duane and Diane Carey are my other favourite writers in the genre.

Hopefully you will snag/steal it to read also!

I love Peter and I have read all of his books. Even the ST:Excalibur great stuff. I have read a lot of Carey's and Duane's as well. I think I have at the ST:TNG books from 1-44 then I stopped buy them but in my day I was quite the fan

Oh, but this kind of stealing is good because it doesn't take anything away from the other person, but rather adds to their knowledge. That gets a thumbs up in my book.

You know, M was selling me on HGTTG a couple of years ago, and I promptly purchased a copy of the book. I even started reading it, and enjoyed what I read enough, but I've never gotten around to finishing the novel. I think it's an issue with my not being into futuristic/sci-fi stuff more than it is a reflection on the novel itself, though. Or maybe I just suck. Heh.

I don't think bringing one book to the desert island precludes bringing anything else! I'd definitely need a notebook, too. I don't go anywhere without one!

Nice reading memory!

Thanks for snagging, Manny.
