As far as the best goes, it's the University of Maryland [best repuation/one of the best Journalism colleges in the nation]. I'm far from ever having that kind of education. I spend the majority of this morning doing research on this type of thing. And i don't understand why i waited til now when its much too late to even consider another school ( Read more... )

you know it isn't so bad. remember what it was like in florida? where you had these tempting offers of beach views, sunny days, a fucking mall that had designer stores, heaven right? i think not. you were miserable down there. you couldn't eat, you had to cross the highway to get to the mall, and all you had to live off of was junk food and booze, maybe not even. radford may not be the best, but if you work hard at nova to get there and you work hard at radford to get to maryland, i don't think that that is a waste of your time. its not stupid to want to further your education after four years. its stupid to want to further your education and not take advantage of the here and now. you don't want to end up like one of those 40 year old's who come to class and pretend that its not weird to be completely surrounded by people half your age now do you? don't let people hold you back, don't let them make you suppress your needs and wants for a better education. you're wrong, you know? radford does have something for you. they can offer you ( ... )

Listen, there is absolutely nothing wrong with dedicating yourself to being a student. They make grad schools for a reason! It isn't too late for you to transfer somewhere next semester/year as long as you make sure the classes you take now can be transfered to that school. It's not too late for anything. (and if you missed deadlines, call and find out if there is a way around that).

It's hard enough making decisions with everyone giving you advice when you aren't sure --- but now that you're in this place where you do know what you want, why are you letting others confuse you? Sure, you want there support, especially Brandon's, but that is no reason to back down on things you already know you think are right...Right?

Sometimes I think friends are there to oppose you so that you could scream back that they are wrong. Because then if you do get angry back for their opposition, you feel more sure about what you were questioning.

♥ ah, good luck.
