Thank you. I am using 14 count. I wanted to start off with the black Aida cloth but I had to do a search to even find it in the size that the pattern calls for. This one is going to be my trial run to see how it looks and then I'll try the black cloth or a navy blue.
I have several of the patterns that I am dying to try anyway. LOL
I haven't worked on him much but that is about to change. LOL Plus I have a few more patterns of him in cross stitch that I want to do. So much Sheppard...so little time!
Excellent work!sheplover928March 23 2013, 00:29:08 UTC
Talent envy here!! I am always amazed at such talent...which I lack!! I have never cross stitched so how do you get the picture right (I don't see any tracing!). Hope you post the finished project when you are done!! I can tell already, it's going to look awesome!!

Thank you! *blushes*
I've been cross stitching for a long time and I love challenging patterns like this! This is actually counted cross stitch and there is no tracing on the cloth at all. LOL You find your center of the pattern (and this one is HUGE!, fold your cloth and you go by the color code for the symbols and literally count your stitches out from the center of the cloth. ;)
Thanks, again! :) I do intend to post a pic of the whole thing finished which at this rate may take forever. LOL I have another one that I want to do too. Hopefully, I can take it to a con and have Joe sign it or at least show it to him and get him to sign a pic of it that I can place with the pattern. *sigh*
