Sound Bites Make the Best News.

This is just . . . wow.

Yes, it's the Daily Show, so not quite a news source, but the thrust of the matter is the series of sound bites itself.

I really dislike politics. I'm trying to care, really, but this stuff just keeps happening.

I just watched the re-run of last night's Daily Show with that clip and was floored. They don't even need to DO anything, just run the clips and let the hypocrisy speak for itself. Amazing. And disgusting. The Colbert Report had a good one of Joe Lieberman dissing Obama this week, as compared to two years ago when he was praising him and taking credit for his success (saying he was his mentor). Again, amazing....

I love the Daily Shows for digging up clips like that. Partly, because they point out the rampant hypocrisy in this campaign, but also for making it possible to laugh at the hypocrisy... otherwise it's just too frustrating.

The best thing about the Daily Show is that it's now known as one of the most reliable news sources, just because it points out hypocrisy such as this.
