A Public Service Announcement
This week's lesson brought to you courtesy of the letter "O" (OMG Ouch!!!) and the letter "S" (Stupid moron) and the number "27" (just because).
Always, always, remember to put sunscreen on the tops of your feet. The pain, swelling, blistering, and general lack of ability to walk that can result from forgetting to do so are really just not worth it.
To be fair, I did cover my feet, along with the rest of my body, with sunscreen before we left. I did not, however, think of my feet when obsessively reapplying throughout the rest of the afternoon, an oversight for which I am now paying dearly.
Learn from my mistakes, little children. Love your feet well.
