Okay, I really don't feel guilty about taking time over the last week to just get better. At least, I'm trying not to.

My abdomen is behaving better than it has in weeks, and that's definitely a plus.

I was SO incredibly sick over the weekend - I really needed 2-3 days to just be sick, and another 2-3 to recover. Fine.

I've had a sore throat/cough since Monday - I figured it was just my body's response to life immediately after exams.

Anyone else here ever been told to drink aloe vera?

It's . . . rather nasty, actually, although I suppose it's pretty much what I imagined drinking aloe vera would be like. It's texture more than taste that I'm reacting to, I think. And I only have to drink 1-2 oz. at a time - the bottle says you can drink up to 8 oz. a day. Blech!

I'm actually really happy with the work I got done today. Not an epic day by any means, but I'll sleep well tonight and wake up in the morning without feeling guilty about everything I should have done the day before . . .

Note to self: it's amazing how much better my vacuum cleaner works when I actually clean the filter once in awhile. Whoa.

Moderately productive today. I'm feeling more in control of my dissertation work at the moment; even though I won't be able to completely redraft my proposal before my meeting on Friday, I'll at least have revised my core list of collections and reworked the statistics.
