I realized today that my French professor pronounces my name Sha-feek, which is one of the more interesting interpretations of my name.

Going to see Brokeback Mountain again today. Very excited

This weekend was really fun. The entire cello section boarded a school van to go see the CSO in chicago. It got off to a really scary start as my crazy russian cello prof took the wheel. It sucks having classes today when everyone else doesn't

Went to the mall today. Saw popped collars galore. Sigh, how I've missed Naperville.

Had my Gateway final today. It was fine. At the end, my professor was like "come down to my office." I was a little scared but then she gave me back my final paper and said "this is really good. I just spent the last two hours running nonstop around the campus in the "amazing wacky race"- a scavenger hunt. I was with my friends lauren, matt...and aly for the first half-hour and then the rest of the time she was with us in spirit. We totally rocked the competition.
