Zombie vampires?

Can a zombie be a vampire or a vampire be a zombie? I don't know why I started thinking about this but it's starting to become a complex issue;  if a zombie bites a vampire does the vampire remain a vampire or become just another zombie? And what about the zombie? Would the zombie become a vampire?

And would that make you a Vambie or a Zompire?

I don't necessarily have anything helpful to add here, but I would just like to say that I am so very glad I'm not the only person who spends time and mental energy on this kind of thing.
And also, I am now going to pondering this question at bus stops for some time to come.

Someone suggested that zombies would be cured by the vampire blood which would pose a huge problem for the zombie 'cos of the whole missing parts thing... so in a way, vampirism is a cure for zombism

I think... vampire wins here. In my world, the vamp blood would be too much for the zombie and it would explode.
Vice versa, if the vamp drained the zombie... wait, isn't the zombie already dead...? I've confused myself.

As mentioned above, I, too, spend a lot of time thinking of things like this. I often contemplate Charlie Brown, and why there is someone in his neighborhood that gives rocks to a child on halloween...!?
