Got home on Sat night to discover my pet carrier, hay and guinea pig food had either been stolen or taken by a twat from the council. As it's such an odd thing to steal (my bike was on the landing!) I'm leaning more towards twat from council. There was no note and no one has previously spoken to me about keeping a pet carrier on my landing, but yet

I'd assume that if the council were in any way competent they would have left a note or something, but competence and councils aren't known for going hand in hand...

I'd vote contact both, though if it is stolen there's unfortunately probably not much the police can do. :(
