1) Sure, I did. If we disregard those 86 (or were there 186) participants that were better than myself :-)
2)They don't have to work hard to live well. Not in sports, anyway. They do therefore relax and enjoy their recreational activities instead of punishing themselves in a pursuit of a professional success. Ice, on the other hand, is their natural element - so they are quite happy to try much more while on it.
