Nonny. I don't even know what to say. Where to start, even. This is so excellent, so beyond what I ever imagined - headcanon accepted!!!

I love, love looove, your language, too. It's that perfect mix of modern emotion with somewhat long-winded structure that is so hard to capture in our world of short! punchy! sentences! And Mycroft! I <3 him.

All in all, nonny, you've outdone yourself and imma add the link as soon as your name is attached!

Thank you! I really love all the elements you've managed to cram into a mere 1,700 words. I wish I could do that.

I really enjoyed reading this remix! I especially liked that you took the circumstances of the original fic and gave them a completely different, but still very believable outcome. Your characterization of Mrs. Hudson in particular, when she's standing in her kitchen and bemoaning Sherlock's proposition while also clearly interested and excited about it was really intriguing and worked so well. The addition of Mycroft, and especially his decision to go after Victor, worked really well also.

All in all, very well done and, as xfdryad said, headcanon accepted!

Mycroft will do anything to protect his baby brother... even against himself. Most people don't understand his approach, naturally. Mainly because, like Victor, they're bloomin' idiots.

Oh, Mrs Hudson is always conniving and still hoping, even after Mary turned up in the series I think.

Oh, I do so love fics from Mycroft's point of view. I love how you added so many other characters into the mix, the supporting cast to Sherlock and Victor's story. It reads as both a companion piece and a sequel of sorts. Love it!

I adore fics from Mycroft's POV. But then, I adore the man himself.

Funs and games with the Holmes boys. Never a good idea thinking you can outplay them.
