John wants to know why Sherlock refuses to let his hair grow out as its natural red. Sherlock says he will if Mycroft does it first.

But Mycroft's hair, what there is of it, is red. Did you want Sherlock to be saying it isn;t red, or did you want him to be saying Mycroft can't grow hair?

Mycroft's hair in Sherlock is more of a dark auburn compared to the red hair that Gatiss has. I want Sherlock to say that he'll give up the hair dye when Mycroft stops dyeing his hair darker.
