Lestrade whumpage. I'm not talking a bit roughed up, and I'm not talking amputation or extended hospital stays, but somewhere in between. Broken, bloody, trying not to scream. Some big powerful group of criminals decided to make an example of him.

Everyone goes all BAMF after whoever did it, particularly Sherlock, which shocks Lestrade and the Yarders, but not John. Mycroft offers a safe house to stay in - his own, naturally - and what assistance he can provide through his government position, and Lestrade is quite surprised at how intensely vengeful Mycroft is on his behalf.

All pairings fine, non-established Mystrade would be lovely too.

TL:DR - Lestrade gets beat to hell and is surprised by how BAMFy everyone he even vaguely knows gets.
