SO. Moffat said that Sherlock did something out-of-character. After literally minutes of contemplation I have come across the only possible answer.

Sherlock gets crisps for Molly and John. What crisps does he get?

QuaversBUT. In The Blind Banker, we clearly see that John is eating Wotsits! How could the world's most observant man miss that Wotsits are John's preferred cheese-flavoured corn-based snack
