Moran had gone after Sherlock with the intent of getting revenge. The death of James Moriarty had lost him a fucking fantastic salary, and he felt the detective was largely responsible. Geniuses though, had a tendency to figure out what you were planning ahead of time, and trap you. He should have remembered Jim as an example ( ... )
