Post-Reichenbach Sally: What Was She Thinking? anonymous January 22 2012, 02:13:51 UTC
I'd like to see something from post-Reichenbach Sally's POV. Not demonising her, but giving her thought process, and maybe her (not warm and fuzzy) regrets. The more tragic, the better.

De-anoning to say thank you so much for your fantastic feedback! You've made my day. I'm so glad that you feel this gives her believable dimension and characterization. I agree wholeheartedly; there's no reason she should be a one-dimensional "villain" or a caricature. I'm really pleased this worked for you.

I'm most grateful for your kind words!

:(((

I really enjoyed this. Especially because I've always had sympathy for Donovan until she seemed to betray Lestrade in RF, and this makes sense of it for me.

(Mycroft says 'folly'. Yes, Mycroft, we know you disapprove.)

De-anoning to say thank you so much for this! I've always had sympathy for Donovan, too - from that first press conference in "ASiP," her protectiveness of Lestrade, and his trust in her, intrigued me - and so I'm especially pleased that you enjoyed this. My heart broke (repeatedly!) in the Reichenbach episode, and I wanted to try to wrap my brain around it somehow. I'm grateful to hear that this take on the situation worked for you.

"Folly" indeed, Mycroft. :(

Thanks so much for reading and commenting. I really appreciate it.
