I so want Sherlock to think John is going to leave him because John is unhappy. John keeps spending the night at Sarah's, his internet search history has stuff like ads for flats, he stops buying milk, I dunno, just a lot of things that, on the surface, look like John is getting ready to leave. Cue Sherlock trying to be a better flatmate, like actually buying groceries, making meals, cleaning up, letting John sleep in, etc. John is creeped out and eventually draws the line at something so out of character for Sherlock that's it's ridiculous. It turns out that John, of course, isn't leaving, just staying with Sarah who is scared of being alone after being mugged on the street, finding her a new place to live, and stopped buying milk because, damn it, it's an experiment to see how long Sherlock will go without it before getting it himself.

"I was just thinking how…accurately you slice cheese?” He nodded and looked vaguely pleased with himself.

Ha! Oh, Sherlock is just adorable throughout all this, and John's bewilderment is pretty cute as well.

“Of course. “ His eyes widened “Oh! No! Wait!” He pulled a tatty piece of paper from his jacket pocket and studied it before announcing nonchalantly, “No. I have most definitely not been through your pockets. And I don’t see what other explanation …” <3 <3 <3

This was brilliant, just saying.

"Frankly, number seven was making it very difficult to observe you while you sleep.”

Oh, Sherlock, you should stop while you're ahead...

"not the weak American stuff which I believe you once said that was analogous to having sex in a canoe"

Oh god i love you so hard for this line you have no idea! the whole thing was funny, sweet and as fluffy as one of Johns' sweaters.

John MUST be a python-head and i bet Sherlock would like there stuff too! (the galaxy song is how John teaches him about the solar system)

He would be too! Now I have an image of the wall of 221B opening and both of them heading off to do the Galaxy Song, which I will have stuck in my head all day, but there are worse things, I suppose. :D

Oh sweet lord, Mrs. Hudson's list killed me! I was fine for the first few, they were normal. But once the list degenerated into "don't shoot anything" and "don't put anything inedible in the fridge" I just lost it. That was fantastic! :)

Also "Frankly, number seven was making it very difficult to observe you while you sleep.”

I just love how John takes it in such a matter-of-fact longsuffering way.
