Sherlock and John knew each other briefly before John went to medical school/joined the military. (Maybe they were torn apart by John's parents because the Watson family was barely okay with having one gay child. Having another one, even if he's possibly bisexual, just won't do.) Mike Stamford doesn't know this when he introduces the two men.

Yeah...maybe a bit too painful, but it had to be done. (I actually think this was nicer than what I had originally planned.)

I will be writing more, but it won't be for a while becaue of other commitments. Just be patient. ;)

I... Holy shit. I have to be honest and say that I wasn't really expecting anyone to fill my request. I checked for the first few weeks after making the post, then life got in the way and I completely forgot about it. You seriously just made my day, hell, I think you made my week. What you wrote was both wonderful and heartbreaking all at the same time, and I can't wait to read more.

I'm very happy you like it. I promise you, there will be more. I have several ideas brewing in my head as to what I want to do next, but I am very busy right now and am not able to do anything with them right now. (And I understand your impatience. Several fics I have found and read on here have not been updated for a while and, well, WANT!)
