John/Sherlock first time. Preferably Sherlock on the bottom.

Sherlock whimpers or sobs or cries whenever he comes. That's why he hates having sex with anyone because he is, as he puts it, A high-functioning sociopath.

I want to see some embarrassed!Sherlock after he comes and John thinks he's lovely and comforts him.

This has been Copied, Pasted, and Stashed in my Fic Folder, I loved everything about it. I have such a thing for scenes where someone confesses a vulnerability, and things are OK and don't get weird, awful, or shaming.

Absolutely wonderful writing. Tender and sexy and realistic and beautiful.

As someone who actually does cry anytime I orgasm I love whenever someone writes about it.

OMG, this was stunning! I love how Sherlock keeps apologizing for things and John's firm about telling him that he is beautiful and doesn't need to apologize for being himself. Wonderful.

The title is taken from the Sarah McLachlan song ‘Building a Mystery’. I was in the middle of writing this, and the first draft was much more lighthearted, but I just couldn’t get their voices to jive with what I wanted the fic to be. Then I was in the car with a friend and she turned this on. I’m not crazy about Sarah McLachlan, but I don’t hate her. She’s okay, but I usually like my music to have more power chords, but the lyrics hit me ( ... )

Actually, it's not really a stretch. Lots of people have odd reactions to orgasm. Laughing or crying aren't that unusual.

Thanks you! And I know it's not that unusual for people to have uncontrollable reactions to an orgasm like laughing or crying (I could empathize with Sherlock in this because I myself once burst into tears while I bed. It was a onetime occurance which happened as a result of a horrible, horrible day, but embarrassing no the less), and I know it's nothing to be ashamed of. But I could totally see Sherlock being upset by his reaction.

Also, thanks so much for taking the time to comment TWICE. It's always so gratifying when people are moved enough by something I write they want to let me know.
