That is indecently hilarious. Fan-bloody-tastic. I think I've alarmed the neighbours again, if only for the bit about Molly Hooper's blog; although my favourite part was John's glare stopping a band of armed Afghani insurgents in their tracks, because that's so MADE OF WIN that "epic" cannot even begin to cover it. I love you so much right now. Huzzah for BAMF!Manipulator!John out-maneuvering both of the Holmes boys and Mycroft not being able to find swears suitable for the occasion.

I have to admit, I have a weakness for making John the bamfiest bamf to ever bamf. The show makes it very easy to.

This inspired a ridiculous amount of LOLing. Love it so hard! Of course John is the favorite. (And the family tapestry--Mummy is officially of the Black family now, LOL!)

Haha, yes, I modeled Mummy Holmes after Mrs. Black, except more sane and maternal. But she still puts the fear of everything unholy in her children.

Oh this is WONDERFUL!
Especially the way John's glares can defeat insurgents and how his bad mood can terrify soldiers miles away and destroy planets... but he's still too polite not to offer tea.

It's my head canon that John trotted through Afghanistan, all good nature and gentle humor, and ruled his unit with a wool-clad iron fist. If anyone pissed him off, he would sit down with them alone and chat for a few minutes, smiling the entire time. After which, said person would twitch if John so much as looked cross.

Unfortunately, John's name will be switched back to John H. Watson, but on the tapestry he will forever be known as John Hamish Watson Holmes. People can have multiple middle names, right?
