You know, I can see this. Does this mean John gets some of that 51st century biology too?

Seconded, obviously.

And of course "It's all fine" because, you know, he would have grown up with his father banging anything that stood still long enough. Comparatively, homoromantic asexuality=everyday.

The more I think about this, the more it just works.

Someone needs to fill this, hardcore.

I really hope that someone fills this. The questions that this prompt leaves me with are, who is John’s mother, is it The Doctor, one of his companions or someone else entirely? And are Harry and John full siblings or half siblings with one parent the same and the other different?

Or, are they maybe not really siblings at all, but rather a family that John had to be put with to protect him?

But I agree, this prompt is thought-provoking and needs to be filled. Preferably soon.

The Hub is as deserted as it ever gets when John lets himself in. There's a pterodactyl circling around above him, which is new, but after it swoops down to get a good look at him and squawk near enough to his face that he can smell it's breath-have they been feeding the thing chocolate?-it flaps away to do whatever it is pterodactyls do, so he's not overly concerned. At least Janet still seems to be caged up. He doesn't bother turning on any lights as he makes his way to his father's office. The dim glow from the humming computers put off plenty of light so that he doesn't trip and fall on his face.

He doesn't look too closely at anything, because he learned years ago that, no, no he really probably doesn't want to know. Of course, that only lasts until he gets to his dad's desk and reaches for the bottle he keeps in the bottom drawer for Those Days-and John doesn't think about that either, because Those Days should mean too much paperwork and some bloke cutting you off in traffic or maybe trying to shoot you just a little bit, not ( ... )

I love how the reaction to the hand seems really similar to the reaction to the head in TGG! Brilliant!! Thank you so much!!

Ha! I love John's long-suffering reaction to the hand in a jar.
