I was just going to prompt this. Because of twitter. I've been following the characters on twitter (I actually signed up so I could) and poor Lestrade hasn't slept and Mycroft knows this so he advises he gets a cup of coffee. Mycroft then proceeds to bug Lestrade to solve a Rubik's cube. Which meant he'd given Lestrade a Rubik's cube as a gift at some point! Lestrade is more preoccupid with John and Sarah having been stolen by Jim so he just sticks the stickers in the right order. Mycroft notices this, obviously, and is disappointed. He also adds, "Generally Inspector, I would suggest not attempting to deceive me" and a tweet like that would have freaked me out but Lestrade had no time because John stole Moriarty and managed to tweet his position.

There is so much fic fodder there but as you can probably tell, I'm far too sleep-deprived and a little bit manic but not helpfully manic, not focussed manic, to actually do anything about it. *crashes*

Sure. It's www.twitter.com/lestradegl for lestrade, www.twitter.com/mycroftmh for Mycroft etc. There's also Irene Adler on there. You'll be able to find all the other characters through Lestrade and Mycroft though. A bit strange that John's girlfriend is following Lestrade on twitter, but I love it!

You know the bit where I wrote "John stole Moriarty"? I meant to put "John stole Moriarty's PHONE", but I've said it before, sleep-deprivation makes my mind go to the dark place. Last time I was this sleep deprived I turned Sherlock's "careful" into "not so rough". It's awesome!

OK, admission: I have been shipping Mycroft/Lestrade liek whoa for a while now, but I was convinced no one else sailed that ship, ergo no fic posting. So I've a couple fics on my flash drive that are 3/4 done for the ship, which I hopefully will finish at some point soon now that I know there *is* demand! ;D

For now, have Mycroft/Lestrade through the lense of Sherlock discovering their relationship, here at my journal. It counts! ;D
