Sherlock couldn't take it here anymore. His family didn't understand that he was smart. For some reason they always compared him to Mycroft. He was never perfect like Mycroft was. Mycroft could talk to people without making them cry. His parents had called him out at dinner, asking him why he couldn't be more like Mycroft. Seriously? That's just rude. Yes it wasn't brit-picked but nonetheless they took the effort to actually fill something - and well at that.

Author anon - I loved this, you did a fantastic job, Americanisms notwithstanding.

Lol, I guess it'd have to be North American unless it was long underwear. With pockets. But nobody said the *AU* had to take place in London right? And who betas an on-the-fly comment fill even if that wasn't the intent?
