Woooow, this is shaping up so well. Positive feedback collars, John's drifting gambit, Mycroft's characterisation, it all fits together like some Lego blocks.
And the second to last line there, I want to cry with him.
John could see why Mycroft thought Sherlock needed a servant, the flat was a mess. Books, papers, clothes and take out boxes cluttered up every available verticle surface. The sitting room was navitable by a series of narrow paths. From the smell, John suspected there might be a dead mouse or two rotting under one of the stacks
( ... )
“So this is your definition of assistence?” said Sherlock, rounding on Mycroft. “A fanatical terrorist, unbroken, in an experimental collar? I wasn't aware that my problem was that I slept too well
( ... )
Just found this today and plowed right through it. I got about two paragraphs into it at the top and thought, "This reminds me of a really great... never mind, same author."
But I got to the end and I think my heart was racing as much as John's. I'm thrilled to have more of your work to be reading.
Whereas John was sold into slavery during/after the war and is bought by Sherlock.
I read a facinating vamp!au one but I'd like to see it human. Whether its for sex or just for services I think it would fun and I hadn't seen one yet
Bonus points for riding crop.

Are you having insanely beautiful weather up there too? Here in the Willamette Valley it's been sunny and warm for nearly 2 weeks. Crazy!

But I have one minor little nitpick--I think the word you want for this story is "abolition".

Sorry, folks. I don't know what got in my head this bit, but apparently it was grammar or sense.

And now I'm worried what Sherlock's going to do to John.
John's going to get addicted to the pleasure chemical isn't he?
Aargh! This fic is addictive! Need more!
