Sherlock decides, for whatever reason, that girl!John should have his baby. He chooses to accomplish this through birth control sabotage.

OR

Sherlock worries that alwaysagirl!John will someday leave him for another guy and decides the solution is to get John pregnant and then they will be bound together for at least the next 18 years. So he seduces her and messes with her birth control.

I do! I do! I do! I love it. It could be half as short as that and it would be just as perfect.

I stopped myself from thinking about what a fill for this prompt would be like, mostly because this is a lot of people's squick (and rightly so - In RL it would be beyond excusable.) But I couldn't have imagined anything this funny. Excellent work. Thanks so much. :D

Shelley did, in later discussions, name the creature 'Adam' but in the book, the creature remains poignantly nameless.

She looked back at the packed and her heart stopped; only on this close inspection could she tell that the pack had been tampered with, the film of foiled carefully pulled back and then re-sealed with some sort of glue ( ... )

I so did not expect another fill for this prompt, but this is so lovely. I loved reading it. It's exactly 'right'. I particularly enjoyed that you wrote this in Jo's POV. And everything else... wow. Thank you so much.

very enjoyable! And of course Jo would just sigh. :) I like the idea that Sherlock really did want the baby, even if it wasn't the main goal
