This prompt from Part IX already has a brilliant long fill here, but multiple fills are love, right? I wanted to try it as a 221b ficlet (221 words, last word ending in "b").
Original prompt: Lestrade's very badly hurt. John's working over him feverishly. John tells Sherlock just to talk to Lestrade, keep his attention, keep him both awake and distracted while John sees to the medical side of things.
