LOVING the other fill - but I thought I'd add one more. Will finish this tomorrow after I've gotten a little sleep.

- - -

Later, so much later, Gregory Lestrade will sit bloody, bruised, and sore with his back against the door of 221B Baker Street. In the predawn light, he will be little more than a dark shape huddled against a dark door and he will tell Sherlock Holmes that he wishes he'd just left the consulting detective to die.

Sherlock will say, "He wouldn't have let me die." and Lestrade will laugh too hard to notice Sherlock gently picking him up and leading him through the door ( ... )

Oh, great setup! I love that Sherlock kept his name a secret (and for good reason too). I must know what happens next!

When Lestrade steps through the door and into Baker street for the first time, he finds Later waiting for him in the person of Mycroft Holmes. Mycroft, who sits in a chair across from his brother Sherlock. Sherlock, whom Lestrade can easily identify as a Holmes now that the man has forgone covering half his face with hair and traded in Lestrade's old jeans for figure flattering bespoke tailoring.

But it isn't Sherlock Lestrade looks at.

It isn't Sherlock who causes Lestrade to go pale so quickly that he actually feels the blood rushing away from his head.

It's Mycroft Holmes.

Mycroft Holmes, Premier of Britain and Europe. Mycroft Holmes who devours Lestrade with his eyes the same way he had once before. Years before. Decades before. (Years and years and forever ago ( ... )

Upstairs, there's already someone lying naked in Mycroft's bed. The pale lithe body of an attractive but empty-eyed youth. The boy's presence annoys Mycroft, who commands him to "Get out." without even looking. His hands never leave Lestrade's body and face barely detaches from the man's jaw line. Lestrade, however, can't help but look at the naked boy when he rises to leave - can barely surprise the gasp that arises at the boy's resemblance to himself at that age. Mycroft notices his reaction anyway ( ... )

I should add that "Lessons" verse is very very explicit non-con/dub-con

Is today my birthday? It must be, because I just found your "Lessons" verse, asked you for more and now THIS! :D

This was perfect, I love the back story but OMG my poor, beloved Lestrade I love you when you suffer but how the hell are you still sane? Or maybe he isn't, when he refused Mycroft and I knew what would happen to him I didn't know he was brave or insane.

DARK!Mycroft is as always unbelievable creepy, and he wants Lestrade since he was fifteen? I bet that even after all the horrible thing he's done to Greg he still thinks that's some sort of "love". Deliciously evil Mycroft is delicious and I even felt a tiny bit sorry for how happy he was to wake up with Lestrade ;)

That no will be his first step to Later. Later, which will involve Mycroft's ballroom and too many Marines. Later, which will involve a pretty young boy, a mirror of Lestrade's own self, sitting naked on Mycroft's knee, being told to watch. You know that after this you have to write more, right ( ... )

Thank you for the comments! <3

So, this Mycroft is more than a bit delusional. He's definitely in love with Lestrade but there are a couple of wires missing in his head. (He thought they were falling in love that summer all those years ago; Lestrade thought he was playing along with the crazy rapist so no one else would get hurt.) I think that, as far as time lines go, what happens is that when Lestrade says no "bad" things happen to him every so often. (Moran's men, being pimped out to the occasional diplomat etc. etc.) But if he says yes, he's Mycroft's body and soul 24-7.

Again, the details are murky but there you go.

Thank you, thank you for the backstory I asked for! What's remarkable about this is that I want more of it far more than I want more of the porn. The porn is amazing, but this is WOW.

Mycroft as Premier of Britain and Europe is a scary, scary man, and I agree with the anon who says he probably thinks it's love. The "one or two" boys a year who resemble Lestrade - that is chilling. The lying to inexperienced Lestrade about being well-endowed is rather pathetic.

I love the way you've structured it, with Before, Between, and Right Now. (And I remember that Before, too!) And how he doesn't know who Sherlock is Between. I wonder if Sherlock was there to help snag him for Mycroft, or if Sherlock was hiding too?

This is an absolutely fascinating story!

LOL! I'm not sure if Mycroft every actually lied to him. I think that Mycroft is just extremely bad at Dirty talk and that's how Lestrade interpreted it.

I wonder if Sherlock was there to help snag him for Mycroft, or if Sherlock was hiding too?So, Sherlock in this verse (and we already know what happens to him later,) just wants to escape Mycroft controlling his life (though he knows he can't). The drugs were meant to be an escape from his brother but, even then, he only got as far as Mycroft was willing to loosen the leash. I think his ending up on Lestrade's doorstep is manufactured by Mycroft (and his being allowed enough freedom to spend more and more time with Lestrade is the same) but he wasn't ever, knowingly, part of any kind of plan. (I also don't think Mycroft is 100% aware of how obsessed with Lestrade he is until they end up in the same room together. He's kind of fucked in the head and, I think, believes himself to be fixated on young ( ... )

Yes, that's what I thought - that Sherlock wasn't aware of Mycroft using him to get next to Lestrade.

Babble all you want. It's wonderful.

The verse you've created here is really brilliant.
