The Everthere Part 14a/? hbomb90May 30 2011, 02:10:28 UTC
AN: Good lord, guys. That awkward moment when people start discussing character motivations (yay, people dont think Daniel is the Mary Sue I was worried he might be! Or they do and are too polite to say!) TBH make what youlikeof Daniel,I lov ethat there are debates*feels like a special snowflake* all will be come clear in the end, ortowards the end,and it comes down to something rather simple. And also, ho wmuch space is there over here? Look at it!It's amazing! I'm sorry I got us all cramped up on the right sideof the screen...Thankies for allthe lovely comments,I'd offer marshmallows but they are foul so have some gin instead, and do not worry! Prufrock moment is not far away!xxx

The front door swings open and he sees his big sister standing there with a grin on her face. It promptly slides away when she takes in his weight loss and obvious fatigue

John gets drunk on top of eating lasagne. Harry sticks to orange juice and then tea, while John gets through a bottle of Clara’s red wine on his own. Harry insists its fine, she can cope with people drinking in front of her, especially when it’s John, who can be a hilarious drunk, apparently. Considering how tired he’s been of late, it goes straight to his head and he actually finds he’s enjoying himself for about half an hour while watching old Have I Got News For You and turns to Sherlock to say something and remembers

1:54pm. I am on the train. You have turned me into one of those obnoxious people who make phone calls on trains. I hope you are happy with yourself. I am going to ring you now, sorry for waking you up.
Re: The Everthere Part 14e/? hbomb90May 30 2011, 03:02:58 UTC
But the note writing... It seemed so impersonal, considering the fact that the only times John usually wrote notes to Sherlock were to say things like ‘Fingers do not belong in the spaghetti jar’ and ‘If there is no milk when I get home it will be your fingers in the spaghetti jar, I do not care if that is hypocritical’
Fantastic. Just funny as hell!
Have spoken to Mrs Hudson. Or rather have been spoken at by Mrs Hudson. I think you know what about.
YES! Go Mrs. Hudson!
God the texts were great, such a mix of funny and heartbreaking. And Sherlock followed him!!!!!
EEEEEEEEEE!!!!! God I can't wait to find out what happens next with Sherlock and John AND what happened with Sherlock and Daniel!

Heh, sorry for helping out in the effort to drive you crazy by meta-ing about your story! XD
Wow, lots going on here! Ticket machine girl, it must have been hard to restrain yourself! ;-)
John's impulsive visit to Harry may turn out to be a good thing - refreshing to see her talk sense to him. Less nice that he's made himself sick, but oh well.
And it looks like that tiny post-it note said a whole lot to Sherlock - well of course it would, imagine all he could deduce from the handwriting and the wording and the size of the periods and whatnot. From the texts, it looks like it set off a domino effect of thinking and wondering and worrying and asking important questions (such as "WTF, Daniel?") and mad last-minute train travel!

When Sherlock misses something, he really misses something. Looks like everybody's got their oar in trying to steer Sherlock straight now though. Mycroft at 9:08, Daniel (not willingly) at around 10:30, Mrs. Hudson from 12:30 to 1, Harry between 1:11 and 1:14 (that was no doubt a very loud 3 minute phone call, all one way). And Ticket-machine Girl gave him a final earful at 1:45 about the miserable blond guy that went through the station when Sherlock asked her if she saw John yesterday, because you know he asked. ;D

Yeah, I think he knows that, inasmuch as he's legitimately helped Sherlock with his romance, never said a bad word about Daniel, resolutely kept his feelings to himself, and has repeatedly tried to convince himself of that fact throughout the story.

Oh john, John, John. Getting drunk is going to make you feel worse, not better! And Sherlock's panicked texts made me D: in the best way possible!
is it bad that I kind of want someone to tell John that Sherlock's allowed to be in love with someone who's not him?
