Moran seduces an unsuspecting John post-Reichenbach anonymous May 7 2011, 03:16:17 UTC
It's post-Reichenbach. Sherlock has faked his death in order to pursue Moriarty's remaining henchmen, including Sebastian Moran. Sherlock has never seen Moran, no one has, not even The British Government, so Sherlock has little to work with to track down Jim's seemingly invisible sidekick/lover. But Sherlock knows he exists, and he must be found before he can exact his revenge for Jim's death by attacking Sherlock or even worse, John. So Sherlock searches frantically far and wide, but all to no avail.

Because there's one place Sherlock never dreamed of looking. Turns out Sebastian is safely hiding inside a new identity and living at 221B Baker Street comforting a devastated John as his new flatmate turned boyfriend. Moran figures what better revenge is there than moving in with your enemy's emotionally-compromised lover, then playing the quiet, sensitive (manipulative and perhaps subtly abusive?) flatmate and then seducing him? Especially when said enemy is too busy running himself ragged dodging assassins and chasing shadows ( ... )

The memorial was packed, of course. Sherlock had touched many lives, and the room was full of people who had adored and respected him. They didn’t know the details of his death, but spoke of a tragic accident while chasing down a criminal across Europe. They talked to John in hushed voices ( ... )

Seb was sweet and interesting, and interested in John, which was almost foreign after weeks of Sherlock’s dismissal as he tried to track down Moriarty. They met again after the memorial service, dinner at Angelo’s where John was allowed to eat free ( ... )

“Why do you keep all his rubbish around?”

John peered up from his book at Seb standing in front of the fireplace, hands on hips, glaring at the unanswered mail pierced into the wood and the clutter and the skull.

John said, “It’s not rubbish,” and immediately felt guilty. He’d been meaning to get rid of Sherlock’s things for ages, or at least store them in the attic, but he couldn’t bring himself too. And he knew it hurt Seb. Was he being selfish again?

“You’re clinging to his memory, John. It’s not healthy.” Seb scowled at him, turned and paced towards him. He sat on the arm of the chair and pulled John’s (Sherlock’s) book away. He ran a hand through John’s hair, as if petting a cat. John leaned into the touch.

“I’m sorry,” John said, honestly.

“I’m trying to help you, John,” Seb said sternly, pulling John’s head back and peering into his eyes. He kissed John, fierce and possessive.

Days like this hurt. It was like he was in a love triangle, with one dead corner ( ... )

Sex had started off gentle, as Seb tried to figure out how far John had gone before, what turned him on, what he disliked. Seb was very perceptive, obviously not up to Sherlock’s standard, but in bed he read John’s wants and needs with admirable ease ( ... )

“Why do you keep photos of him?” asked Seb one morning, putting down a cup of tea in front of John. He had his kind, concerned face on, but John was still afraid.

John said carefully, “He was my friend, my best friend, for the best years of my life. Do I have to get rid of everything to do with him? Can I keep nothing?”

Sebastian’s look said everything. His face was more a mask than ever, and for the first time, John was well and truly frightened of him. “You are,” Sebastian said, “so selfish, John ( ... )

Oh man, I do hope that Seb is in for a world of hurt at some point, because he is one mean bastard! Geez I hope John helps Sherlock kick his ass. Poor broken John!

I'm so glad this is getting filled! Thanks for taking this on! I'll be waiting for more!

Sebastian threw him against the wall (they had their first kiss here) so hard that John’s head smacked painfully against it and bounced back. Bleary eyed, he saw where this was going. Sebastian could be violent, yes, but he’d never beaten John ( ... )
