5 + 1 = John's the "Off the Record" DoctormorganstuartOctober 24 2011, 19:31:59 UTC
I'm a huge, huge sucker for stories in which wounded characters who want discretion, or kindness, or simply to avoid the hassle and red tape of hospital, seek out John on his off hours to patch them up. I've read great stories where Mycroft or Lestrade or someone else either phones him to come over or shows up on his doorstep, banged up and bruised, asking for his assistance. And of course we assume Sherlock does this all the time.
I'd like to see 5 times when characters sought out John's doctoring skills "off the record," and 1 time when he bundled someone off to hospital despite his/her protests.
Bonus points if at least some of these are angsty/poignant. Extra bonus points if Lestrade's in here somewhere. ;) Thanks so much!

Oh wow - thank you so much! *bounces* I'm not in any rush or going anywhere, so please take all the time you need. I'm really grateful to you and excited. Thanks. :D

Yay! I love h/c, too. I'm so glad you like the prompt. :)
ETA: By the way, I put "5 + 1" just to conform to convention, but if you'd rather do 4 + 1, or 6 without the 1, or something else entirely, please do whatever you like.

So, remember how I said I was taking a break from that other thing for a day? Well, this is what I wrote "on break." I didn't manage to make it a 5+1, but I did get Lestrade in there. Hope you enjoy!
